CRMV_PROC_CATTYP - Assign Transaction Types to Catalog Categories

In this Customizing activity, you assign transaction types to catalog categories. The mapping of transaction types to catalog categories is required for the direct assignment of categorization schemas to transaction types.
Changing the preconfigured assignment of transaction types to catalog categories, or adding new combinations of transaction types and catalog categories, requires component usage configuration and view configuration. For more information, see the SAP Solution Manager.
Per transaction type, multiple combinations of transaction type and catalog category are supported. Thus, you can assign multiple categorization schemas to one transaction type. This in turn enables you to use multiple blocks of categorization schemas in the application that uses multilevel categorization.
- You have made the required settings in Customizing activity Define Application Areas for Categorization.
- If you want to use the automatic item determination via multilevel categorization, you have to activate this function in Customizing activity Define Item Determination.
Define whether the following functions are activated for a combination of transaction type and catalog category:
- Find related objects
- Automatic completion via templates
- Automatic item determination
