CRMV_SHIP_COND - Define Shipping Conditions

You define shipping conditions in this step. You can enter the shipping conditions defined here in the customer master record in the sales data for each sales area. The system copies the shipping condition into the sales document header.

You can also specify a shipping condition for each sales document type. This shipping condition is then used for determining the shipping point in the sales document instead of what is specified in the customer master record (in the ERP system, see the chapter "Determine Shipping Condition by Sales Document Type").

The system can only determine the shipping point if a shipping condition is contained in the sales document.

• Since the shipping point is required for creating a delivery, you should designate the shipping condition in the customer master record as a required entry to ensure that the shipping condition is entered and can be transferred to a sales document. (For more information about how to designate fields in the customer master record as required, see the chapter "Define Account Groups and Field Selection for Customers" in the ERP system).

• If you do not make a distinction between the different shipping conditions in your company, you should work with a standard shipping condition, for example "01", which is specified in all customer master records.

1. Check which shipping conditions are used in your company.
2. Specify an alphanumeric key which, can have up to 2 positions, and a description for the shipping conditions.
3. Make sure that the shipping conditions are entered in the customer master records.
