In this Customizing activity, you define the business transaction items that are relevant for the integration with Revenue Accounting and Reporting (Revenue Accounting).

Define the business transaction item by assigning an item category to the transaction type. Select the Revenue Accounting Type checkbox if you require this configuration for revenue accounting. This means the system generates revenue accounting items for the business transaction items with the respective transaction types.

You can restrict the generation of revenue accounting items for a business transaction item to a specific sales organization. If you do not enter a sales organization, the system generates revenue accounting items for all sales organizations.

The package ID is only used for the operational load if you migrate existing contracts to Revenue Accounting individually instead of importing all data at once.
