CRMV_SVY_DET_KA - Define Determination for Surveys in Knowledge Articles

In this Customizing activity, you define rules for determining surveys for knowledge articles. You can determine which survey the system proposes based on dates, transaction type, and item category. To refine determination, you can also define additional determination criteria and group these together in a criteria set.

You have defined one or more surveys in Define Surveys.

The standard configuration delivered in Service contains the survey SERVICE_STANDARD as an example.

1. 1. Choose New Entries.
2. 2. Enter an ID and a description for the determination rule.
3. 3. Choose a transaction type and an item category.
4. 4. Enter a validity period for the determination rule.
5. 5. Choose the survey for which the determination rule is valid.
6. 6. Use the Mandatory and Active checkboxes to identify whether the survey must be completed and whether the determination rule is active.
7. 7. Save your entries.

You have defined the following determination rules:

Determination Rule: ABC

Valid From: 01 January 2008

Valid To: 30 June 2008

Transaction Type:

Questionnaire: KA_QUESTIONNAIRE_1

Active:X

and

Determination Rule: DEF

Valid From: 01 January 2008

Valid To:30 June 2008

Transaction Type:KNAR

Questionnaire:KA_QUESTIONNAIRE_2

Active:X

The system will determine the questionnaire KA_QUESTIONNAIRE_1 for all knowledge articles, independent of transaction type. For knowledge articles with transaction type KNAR, the questionnaire KA_QUESTIONNAIRE_2 is proposed in addition to KA_QUESTIONNAIRE_1.
