In this activity, you assign single events (respective buttons) to the toolbar groups that you have defined. This enables you to use a toolbar group in several tab page groups.

You have created a toolbar group.

  1. Use the input help to choose a toolbar group.
  2. Choose New Entries.
  3. If necessary, enter a view.
  4. In the Sequence column, enter the location where the button is to be displayed within the toolbar group.
  5. In the Event column, enter the event to be triggered when the button is pressed. The description for the button uses the event text.
  6. Activate one of the Event in... checkboxes if the event is not to be used in one of the specified views.
  7. Activate the checkbox in the Extended Displaycolumn if you want the button to be displayed only after extending the toolbar.
  8. If necessary, enter an event group in the Event Group.
  9. Activate the checkbox in the Inactive column if you do not want the button displayed in the People-Centric UI. In this way, you can exclude a button for a specific view.
