In this IMG activity, you enable users to track the document processing lifecycle of CRM business transactions in SAP Business Information Warehouse (SAP BW).

On entering a transaction type, this business transaction and its items are tracked according to Status and Processor. The data can be analyzed in SAP BW.

You have made the settings in Customizing for:

  • Customer Relationship Management by choosing:
  • Transactions -> Basic Settings -> Define Transaction Types

  • Transactions -> Basic Settings -> Status Management

  • Master Data -> Organizational Management

  • Integration with other mySAP Components by choosing:
  • Integration with Other mySAP Components -> Data Transfer to the SAP Business Information Warehouse -> Settings for Application-Specific DataSources (PI Basis) -> Status Concept for BP/Product/CRM Objects

SAP delivers the following transaction types to track the document processing lifecycle in SAP Business Information Warehouse:

  • SAP Service Order: SRVO
  • SAP Confirmation: SRVC

Note: You can delete these transaction types as well as add new ones.

1. Choose New Entries.

2. Select the required transaction type.

3. Save your entries.

Note: The performance in the system could be affected if you enter a lot of transaction types in this Customizing table.
