In this IMG activity, you can activate limited pricing for transaction types in usage-based billing. This restricts pricing to specific items in the transaction (the activity determines which items are involved). When creating readings in the UBB service contract, for example, it is the billing request items that are involved. During pool prebilling, the items involved are the billing request items of the pool contract (if limited pricing has been activated for the pool transaction type) and/or the billing request items of the redistribution in the assigned UBB service contracts (if limited pricing has been activated for the UBB service contract transaction types).
By limiting pricing to certain items, you can improve the system performance. This can be particularly useful when entering readings and when preparing billing for pool contracts. We recommend that you set limited pricing for contracts with a lot of items or a large number of readings.
During limited pricing, the system only transfers certain items to pricing. Because of this, you cannot process group conditions with limited pricing. This also affects the standard tax condition 0TTE, for example. You should only activate limited pricing when you can do without these conditions for the specified transaction types. This functionality does not affect pricing in billing.
