An actor type is, for example, CONTACT PERSON, PARTNERCOMPANY, or SALES AREA. It describes the relationship type between the user and object. Create a new actor type if the relationship type to be mapped does not exist yet.

The actor, on the other hand, is an attribute of the actor type. For example: SOUTHERN REGION for the actor type SALES AREA.
