CRM_ACE_AFU_CL_DOC - Actor Determination in User

You use this activity to specify actors for a user. From the viewpoint of a user in a company, an actor is, for example, the area for which he or she is responsible, and from the viewpoint of the object, the area to which the object belongs.

Rules only apply to a user and associated obkects if they have the same actors.

To determine the actors for a user, ACE uses a class implementation, which you can create by using the IF_CRM_ACE_ACTORS_FROM_USER interface. The implementation to be created by you returns the actors for a user.

To improve system performance, we recommend that you use a small number of actors for each user. To determine the actor type, choose a specific user sort criterion combining a large number of objects from the object perspective .

You have implemented interface IF_CRM_ACE_ACTORS_FROM_USER. For more information, see Interface Implementation.

To use the implementation in a rule, use Create AFU Class to create a new entry and assign a class to it.
