Business Add-In for Dates (CRM_APPOINTMENT_BADI)

In this step, you can implement your own programming for date management.

Use method CRM_APPOINTMENT_MERGE to configure the system so that it processes date-relevant fields that are not contained in documents in the standard system but which you have inserted yourself.

To create your own check in date management, you can use the method CRM_APPOINTMENT_CHECK. By implementing this method, you can configure the system so that it checks whether the time stamp is within a given interval, for example.

If changes are made to the date set of a subobject, inheritance is triggered explicitly. If you do not require this, or if changes to the date set of a higher-level object should not be transferred to a sub- object, you can use method CRM_APPOINTMENT_INHERIT to override the standard inheritance settings.

The durations actual total duration and actual duration are calculated from the actual date, if this does not span more than one day. If you want to use your own logic, you can store this in the methods CRM_APPOINTMENT_ACTTOTAL or CRM_APPOINTMENT_FACE2FACE.
