You can create categories to further define your activity types, for example, a visit or a phone call.
You need to define an activity category and then assign it to an activity class. The following activity classes are part of the core Activity Management functionality:
- Appointment
- Interaction Log
- Task
Each of the above activity classes has its own layout on the WebClient UI, with the necessary fields, information and functions.
Note
The Icon field is only relevant for the SAP Graphical User Interface (SAP GUI).
- Enter a category key and a description.
- Assign it to a class.
If you have created an activity category visit, you could use the activity class appointment.
