CRM_AKT_FRAGEBOGEN03 - Define Determination for Questionnaires: Business Activity

In this Customizing activity, you define determination rules for questionnaires in activities. For example, you can specify which questionnaire you want to appear for an activity for a specific validity period, or a certain transaction type or item category. If you want to determine additional criteria for the determination rule, you can do so in the Customizing activity Define Determination Criteria for Questionnaires. Here, you can specify further criteria which is specific to the activity, such as category, system status, target group or sales organization.

You have defined a questionnaire under the Activities folder in the Survey Suite.

If you wish to work with additional determination criteria, you need to have defined this in the activity referred to above.

1. Choose New Entries.
2. Enter an ID and a description for the determination.
3. Enter a validity period for the determination.
4. Choose the transaction type and item category.
5. In the Questionnaire ID field, choose the questionnaire that you wish to be determined for an activity.
6. If applicable, set the Mandatoryand Active flags to specify whether the questionnaire should be completed or whether the determination should be active. Note that when you save the transaction, the system checks whether a survey was found which has been marked as mandatory, but has not been filled out. In this case, the system still allows you to save the transaction, but an error message is displayed in the application log.
7. Save your entries.

You have defined the following:

Determination: ABC

Valid from: January 1, 2018

Valid to: June 30, 2018

Transaction type: leave blank

Questionnaire ID: ACTIVITY_QUESTIONNAIRE_1

Active: X

and

Determination: DEF

Valid from: January 1, 2018

Valid to: June 30, 2018

Transaction type: 0003 (Outgoing Phone Call)

Questionnaire ID: ACTIVITY_QUESTIONNAIRE_2

Active: X

The survey ACTIVITY_QUESTIONNAIRE_1 is now determined for all activities, whereas the questionnaire ACTIVITY_QUESTIONNAIRE_2 is only determined for outgoing phone calls. This means that if you create an activity, the questionnaire ACTIVITY_QUESTIONNAIRE_1 appears; if, however, you create an outgoing call, both questionnaire ACTIVITY_QUESTIONNAIRE_1 and ACTIVITY_QUESTIONNAIRE_2 appear.
