In this step you enter the name of the requirements profile in the SAP APO System as an ATP profile in CRM Enterprise. For more information, see Setting for ATP Profile.

CRM Enterprise uses BAPI_APOATP_CHECK for the online product availability check. This BAPI interface includes a requirements profile at item level (BAPI10400REQ structure).

The requirements profile is controlled in the SAP APO System in Customizing under SAP Advanced Planner and Optimizer (SAP APO) -> Global Available-to-Promise (Global ATP Check) -> General Settings -> Maintain Requirements Profile.

In the requirements profile the indicator for writing temporary objects (in the view it is the TOIn column; on the Details screen it is the TmpObjId field) should be set as follows:

  • If planning takes place in SAP APO: Write both internal and external temporary objects
  • If planning takes place in SAP ECC: Write internal and prepersistent external temporary objects
  • For quotations: Write Internal Temporary Objects Only - No External

In the next step you assign this name to an item category.
