CRM_BP_EMPLASSIGN - Specify Basic Settings

In this activity, you make the basic settings required for performing rule-based assignment of employees.

This information is required when executing the rule-based assignment function, either on the Account or Contact overview page, or when running report CRM_BUPA_ASSIGN_EMPLOYEE. It consists of the following:

• Rule engine context
  This is the context in which you create your rules for employee assignment.

• Service manager profile
  This is a grouping of services and related settings that are used when the service manager is called.

1. Enter the context BUPA_RULE.

This enables the rule-based assignment of employees, irrespective of whether the function is executed from the UI or using the report.

1. Enter the service manager BUPA_DEFAULT.
2. Save your data.

Note that after having made these settings and after having specified a service manager profile in the next Customizing step, the Employee Assignment button is shown on the UI.
