CRM_BP_HIER1 - Define Hierarchy Category

In this activity, you specify which hierarchy categories can be used in the account hierarchy.

In the account hierarchy, assign each hierarchy structure a hierarchy category. The hierarchy category specifies in which function a hierarchy structure is used. You can freely decide on the use, as a hierarchy category simply has a classifying character.

The hierarchy category 01 for pricing is delivered as the standard setting.
It contains a check that guarantees that an account is uniquely assigned to a hierarchy node at a specific time.

1. Choose New entries.
2. Enter the necessary data for a hierarchy category.
3. Save.
