In this activity, you periodically run a job to check and update business partner master data with the BP role Employee from HR master data in the ERP system. The maintenance of master data for employees is:

  • Time-dependent for HR master data in the ERP system
  • Not time-dependent for business partner master data in CRM

Run this job to ensure that business partner master data for employees in CRM is updated from HR master data.

Plan this job only when you have integrated business partners in CRM with HR application components from the ERP system. The master data for your employees is distributed by ALE from the ERP system to CRM.

Run the job periodically. We recommend that you run the job once a day or at least once a week.

  1. Include a step containing the report HRALXSYNC into your background job to synchronize the standard data of your business partners.
  2. If you have extended the ALE distribution of HR master data to CRM, you also need to include a step containing your customer implementation of report RH_ENHANCE_BP_TEMPLATE.
