CRM_BRF - Configure Business Rule Framework

In this activity you make all settings for the Business Rule Framework (BRF) so that you can use it in SAP CRM. You can find detailed information on the BRF objects in the SAP Library under mySAP ERP → ERP Central Component → Cross-Application Components → General Application Functions (CA-GTF) → Business Rule Framework (BRF) → BRF Objects.

• You have fully maintained the Customizing settings for the BRF.

• If you want to set parameters for a rule, you have Defined Parameter Keys in Customizing.

1. Choose the application class to define or adjust the related BRF objects.
2. You can change all events known to the BRF, or make the required settings for each event. In addition, you can register your own events with the BRF in this activity.
3. You can define expressions for the BRF. You can also use existing expressions, and adjust them to suit your needs. You can assign tags to an expression if you have chosen the corresponding implementing class. Implementing class 0CRM_TAG_EXP is provided by default for tag expressions.
4. You can define actions for the BRF, or adjust existing ones to suit your needs.
5. You can define rules for a BRF event. Using these rules you can fill BRF events with business content. The starting point is, therefore, a BRF event for which you define rules.
1. Select the event that you would like to define rules for.
2. Define your rule, and if necessary, assign parameters to it for your particular business use.
6. You can define rule sets for the BRF.
7. You can define groups for the BRF.
