CRM_BULLETIN_OT - Define Object Types/Subtypes for Bulletins

In this activity, you define the UI object types and subtypes for which you want to make bulletins available. To do so, you can assign multiple bulletin sources to one combination of UI object type and subtype.

When a user opens an UI object type that is defined here, the system processes the assigned sources and retrieves the bulletins that are available.

Example

For UI object type CRM_SRQM_INCIDENT and subtype ITIN you have assigned the following bulletin sources:

• 00001 - Partner Functions

• 00003 - Installed Base

• 00004 - Reference Objects

• 00006 - My Bulletins

By opening an incident, the user is able to see all bulletins that are created for the partners, the installed base, and the reference objects that are related to the incident and that you have validated in the Bulletin Board Customizing. In addition, the user can see the all bulletins that he or she has created.

The standard system contains all object types that you can use.

1. Enter the UI object type and the subtype for which you want to make the Bulletin Board available.
2. Select you entry and choose folder Assign Bulletin Sources.
3. Add all bulletin sources that you want to make available for the combination of UI object type and subtype.
