In this Customizing activity, you assign your action profiles to case types.

When you assign an action profile to a case type, you can execute actions in this profile in cases with this case type, provided that the schedule conditions are met for the action.

If you have selected Schedule Automatically in the action definition, the action appears automatically in the action overview of the case with the corresponding case type, provided the schedule conditions are met.

You have defined actions, action profiles, and conditions in Customizing for Case Managementunder → Extended Customizing -> Process Actions -> Define Action Profiles and Actions and Define Conditions.

Double-click on the appropriate case type to select it.

In the Action Profile field, enter the technical name of the action profile that you want to assign to this case type.
