You only need to complete the activities in this section if you want to link objects to cases, which are stored in systems other than your Service system. For this you need to:

• Set up connections between your SAP system and the systems in which the relevant objects are stored (activities Define Target Systems for RFC Calls and Define Logical System).

• Specify the logical system for each element type, which represents an object such as a product or business partner, or another case, that you want to link to a case from another system. You do this in the step Define Logical System for Element Type.
