The information contained in the fact sheet is divided into information (info) blocks that group together certain kinds of data. You can choose which info blocks appear in the fact sheet, as well as the sequence in which they appear. You can then combine the info blocks you require into views and assign them to different user groups or roles. This enables you to design different fact sheets for different users.

The info blocks contain two kinds of information:

  • Master data
Data that has been maintained in the business partner master record, such as address details and related partners. This data does not change in the info block unless it is changed in the business partner itself.
  • Transaction data
Data related to the ongoing business you conduct with your business partners, such as sales orders, activities, and analyses related to these transactions.

The following CRM information blocks display master data and are valid for all sales areas:

  • Address (this information block also exists in SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (BI) as Business Partner Standard Address)
Provides contact details
  • Classification (BI: Business Partner Classification)
Industry sector and legal classification
  • Contact person (BI: Business Partner Contact Persons)
Displays all contact persons maintained for the business partner
  • Blocks
Contains blocks that have been set against the business partner in the master data, for example, a credit block.

The following info blocks are available in two versions - either complete or restricted. If you choose the Complete info block, the data is displayed for all sales areas. Each sales area is given its own info block.

For example, if you have assigned business partner SMITH to sales area 0001 and sales area 0002, and you use an info block for billing data, the system will display two info blocks:

  • Billing data for Smith in sales area 0001
  • Billing data for Smith in sales area 0002

If you choose the Restricted info block, the system only displays the data for the sales area in which you are currently working.

  • Billing (BI: Business Partner Billing Data)
Displays the data contained on the Billing tab page in the business partner master data and includes blocks specific to billing
  • Shipping (BI: Business Partner Shipping Data)
Displays the data contained on the Shipping tab page in the business partner master data and includes blocks specific to deliveries
  • Sales (Business Partner Sales Data)
Displays the data contained on the Sales tab page in the business partner master data
  • Partners (Business Partner Functions)
Contains all the business partners who have been given a partner function for the business partner you are viewing. These are contained on the Partners tab page in the business partner master data.

The following information blocks display transaction data.

  • Last n business activities
Calls up the required number of completed activities for the business partner, for example, the last 20.
  • Last CRM business transactions
Calls up the last n business transactions such as sales orders, quotations, contracts or opportunities
  • Completed CRM business transactions
Displays the last n business transactions with status "completed" and "closed"
  • Open CRM business transactions
Displays the the last n business transactions with status "new" or "in processing"
In the above three info blocks, the system searches for the documents according to the date on which they were last changed and they are displayed in the fact sheet in chronological order.
Contains business transactions which have been created with reference to business agreements that were posted in the time period specified
  • Open transactions with business agreements
Contains business transactions which have been created with reference to business agreements that are open in the time period specified
  • Campaigns
Displays the current and future campaigns within the time period specified
  • Open leads
Displays the last n leads that have status "open" or "in processing"
  • Marketing profiles
Displays the CRM marketing profile that has been assigned to the business partner, with its attributes and their values
  • ISU XML data
This is only relevant if you are working with a combination of a CRM and an IS-Utilities (IS-U) System. This info block displays data about business partners, contract accounts and installations for companies in the utilities sector.
Data can be called up from the IS-U system either by Remote Function Call (RFC) or with an HTTP address.
  • ERP core sales summary
Transfers views from the ERP sales summary for the business partner
Note that in order to display the ERP info blocks in the CRM fact sheet, you can call up the CRM fact sheet in one of the following ways:
  • From a document (during transaction processing) which contains a sales organization

  • From the business partner maintenance after having first chosen a sales area

  • From the Customer Interaction Center (CIC)

  • From the business partner cockpit

However, in this case, you need to have first assigned your user to a sales organization.
For each of the above cases, the following prerequisites apply:
  • The required business partner in the CRM fact sheet needs to also exist in the ERP system

  • The sales organization in the CRM system must also also exist in the ERP system

  • The fact sheet data must exist for business partner and sales organization

  • SAP Netweaver BI template
Transfers information from the BI queries. The standard system contains the following info blocks:
  • Customer Statistics

Taken from the query with the same name (technical name 0SD_C01_ Q0030), this info block contains details such as sales volume, number of incoming orders, or return orders.
  • Vendor Overview

This info block displays information from the Vendor Overview query (technical name 0BBP_C01_Q013). It contains information about the total purchase order value, number of order items, as well as the average variations between delivery times, prices and quantities. It therefore enables you to analyze how much business you conduct with the vendor as well as the quality of the vendor's service.
  • To display the contact person's telephone number, you must ensure that the company address has been assigned to the business partner. To do this, go to the Relationships screen in the business partner record under Master Data -> Business Partner -> Maintain Business Partner.
  • To use info blocks for the BI queries, the following conditions must be met in your CRM system:
  • It must be linked to the BI system (in Customizing choose SAP Web Application Server -> Application Server -> IDoc Interface/Application Link Enabling (ALE) -> Communication -> Create RFC Connections)

  • The queries must be in HTML format

  • If you want to use info blocks from an ERP sales summary, you must have defined the sales summaries in your ERP system. For more information, see the ERP IMG under Sales and Distribution -> Sales Support (CAS) -> Sales Summary.
  • To use the info blocks for IS-Utilities, you must be working with an IS-U system with Release 4.63 or above.

Maintain Info Blocks

In this step, you configure the info blocks according to your requirements and create new ones if necessary.

Note that you only need to maintain the info blocks once.

  1. For each info block, choose the appropriate class and enter a description in the Info block field.
  2. Choose Settings to complete the Customizing.
  • If you require ERP sales summary information, enter a view name that corresponds to the name of the sales summary view in the ERP system.

  • If you wish to use the Customer Statistics info block, you must enter your BI server in the BI Server field. You do not need to change the remaining settings delivered by SAP.

  • If you wish to use the Vendor Overview, you can use the settings delivered by SAP.

  • If you wish to use another BI query, you must enter the appropriate settings, such as the workbook name, in the relevant fields.

  • If you require the XML ISU Data via HTTP info block, enter your own host and port names. Use the path already specified by SAP, apart from the client name, which you can change according to your requirements.

  1. Save your entries. When you choose Back, the system displays the table containing all possible info blocks and their descriptions.

Define a View

In this step, you can create new views or versions of the fact sheet. Each view can contain a different variety or number of info blocks, so that you can tailor it specifically according to your users' needs.

Enter a view name in the View field. The system automatically assigns a unique key (GUID) to the view.

Assign Info Blocks

Here you assign the info blocks to the view.

  1. Select the view and double-click on Assign info blocks.
  2. Choose the info blocks you require from the possible entries. For each entry, specify the position in which you want it to appear in the fact sheet. Note that if you use a combination of BI and CRM info blocks, we recommend that you place all the BI info blocks together, either at the top or the bottom of the fact sheet.
  3. Save your settings.
