In this activity, you can assign standard views for the fact sheet to specific single roles and applications. This determines the default view users assigned to the particular role will see when working with the fact sheet.

You want to create a fact sheet specifically for your call center employees. Therefore, you define a fact sheet view containing the business partner's address data, the last 20 activities undertaken for that business partner, information about recent sales orders, deliveries and billing documents, as well as any possible credit or delivery blocks. You assign this view to the role CRM_CALLCENTER to which all your call center employees have been assigned. When an employee in the call center calls up the fact sheet, this view is displayed automatically as the default view.

You must have defined the info blocks and views for the fact sheet.

  1. Choose the single role you wish to use.
  2. Choose the application where your fact sheet resides.
  3. Choose a view.
  4. The system assigns the view to the role.

Note that the view assigned to a specific role is merely the default view that will be displayed for users working with this role, it does not restrict the views the user can select for display.

To restrict the views for a particular user, log on with the relevant user and use the Personalize function in the fact sheet to select and deselect views as appropriate. This is only possible in the SAP GUI.
