CRM_CF_ENTLMENT_020 - Assign Entitlement Profile to Item Category

In this IMG activity, you assign an entitlement profile to an item category.

• You have maintained entitlement profiles in the activity Customer Relationship Management -> Transactions -> Settings for Complaints -> Integration -> Entitlements -> Define Entitlement Profile on Item Level.

• You have activated the system configuration for service parts management in the activity Customer Relationship Management -> Transactions -> Basic Settings -> Activate System Configuration for Service Parts Management.

To assign an entitlement profile to an item category, proceed as follows:

1. Choose the required item category in the initial view of the IMG activity (view Definition of Item Categories).
2. Go to the detail screen for the item category.
3. In the Profiles section of the screen, maintain the Entitlement Profile field.

Note that the Entitlement Profile field only appears if you have activated system configuration for service parts management (see the "Prerequisites" section).

1. Save your entries.
