SAP E-Book

You use this activity to set up lead distribution by usinfg interactive forms. The settings described here are only required if you have activated the #Lead distribution to Channel Partner via Interactive Form# scenario.

Mandatory setup activities.

1.,,Activate the Start event linking for the workflow template WS15100054 CRM_LEAD_IF.

2.,,Create the user LEAD_IF.

You can also use different user names. However, to do this, you must adjustt the workflow template.

3.,,Maintain e-mail addresses for this user

#,,Sender e-mail address as the standard e-mail address.

This address is used as a sender address for the e-mail with Interactive Form. If an e-mail cannot be delivered, the #not delivered# message is sent to this e-mail address as well.

#,,E-mail address for the partner reply as an additional e-mail address.

This e-mail address is used for partner replies, whichare processed automatically

We recommend that you maintain both e-mail addresses. If you maintain only the first (standard) e-mail address, it is used for both purposes; as sender address and as a partner reply address at the same time.

4.,,Setting for the partner reply processing

Start the transaction SCOT and select the Settings → Inbound Processingin the menu bar

Maintain the rule line for the partner reply processing:

  • Exit Name

In this field, enter processing class name CL_CRM_PCM_LEAD_DIST_INTFORM.
  • Recipient Address

The common structure of this e-mail address is USER_PART@SERVER_PART.

The server part of this e-mail address (behind the#@# character) is predefined for your CRM system.

The user part (in front of the #@# character) can contain any name. You do not need to create a user with this name in your CRM system.

Additionally, you need to configure your e-mail server so that partner reply e-mails sent to the #Email address for the Partner reply# (that you have maintained in the step 3) are automatically dispatched to the recipient address.

During sending of the Interactive Form, as well as during processing of the partner reply, an application log is written.

You can set the log level parameter that controls the kind of log messages that are written into the log.

The following log level values are supported:

#,,#1# ,,Errors

#,,#2# ,,Errors and warnings

#,,#3# ,,Errors, warnings and success messages

#,,#4# ,,Errors, warnings, success messages and info messages

The default setting for the application log level is #3#: ,,#Errors, warnings and success messages#.

To set a different log level to the default level, the user parameter CRM_LEADIF_LOGLEV is used. You must set the required log level for this parameter.

To control the application log level during sending of the Interactive Form, set this parameter for the user LEAD_IF. If you use another user as a sender (see below), use the respective sender user instead of LEAD_IF.

To control the application log level during processing of the partner reply, maintain this parameter for the user that is used for inbound e-mail processing. As a rule, this is the SAPCONNECT user.

If you have made the mandatory settings described above, you can use this scenario without to any further adjustments.

You have the following options to adjust this scenario:

  • You can create own Interactive Form template (or copy and adjust the default delivered template CRM_PCM_LEAD_DIST_INTFORM). To do this you can use transactions SE80 and/or SFP.
  • You can create your own e-mail implementation class (or copy and adjust the default delivered class CL_CRM_PCM_LEAD_DIST_EMAIL). This class has to implement the IF_CRM_PCM_LEAD_DIST_EMAIL interface and is used to create the e-mail content at runtime.

You can also do the following:

  • Create your own Interactive Form template and / or own e-mail implementation class.
  • Copy the delivered Workflow template WS15100054 (CRM_LEAD_IF).and adjust it.
In your workflow template, you have to set values for the following workflow container elements:
  • FORM_PARAM.FORM_NAME

Form name of your own Interactive Form template.
  • FORM_PARAM.EMAIL_CLASS_NAME

Class name of your own e-mail implementation class.
Additionally, you can set the sender user name and reply e-mail address for partner answers:
  • FORM_PARAM.SENDER

Default delivered sender user is LEAD_IF. You can change the value of this container element, if you want to use another user.
  • FORM_PARAM.REPLY_EMAIL_ADDRESS

Default delivered value of this parameter is initial, since the second (non-standard e-mail address of the LEAD_IF user is used). However, if you maintain an e-mail address here, it is used for partner replies instead of the reply e-mail address of the sender-user.
  • Activate the Workflow start event linking for your own workflow template and deactivate it for the default template WS15100054 (CRM_LEAD_IF).
