In this step you maintain configurations that specify details about HTML pages to be displayed in the Application Area or in the Navigation Area.

There are two ways to start an HTML page:

  • Action Box transactions
HTML pages started by Action Box transactions will always be displayed in the Application Area.
  • Automatically created workspaces host HTML pages
HTML pages started via the default workspaces can be shown in the Navigation Area or in the Application Area, depending where the workspace is defined for.
  1. Determine which HTML page you would like to display. The HTML page can be an internet, intranet, or custom-developed page.
  2. Create an HTML configuration for each page you want to display.
  • In the HTML configuration, enter a description and the path to the HTML page. You can also specify an SAP web repository object.

  • You should also specify the browser buttons that should be available.

  • If your HTML page is custom-developed and will call Action Box transactions, you must also specify the Action Box configuration that contains those transactions.

  • Specify external and internal parameter settings if your HTML page is started via the Action Box transaction and should pre-fill data from the Business Data Display (BDD).

If you have specified an Action Box configuration as mentioned above, your next step should be to maintain the Action Box configuration used from HTML.
