In this IMG activity, you can define the framework ID you want to use, select the components you want to include in your Interaction Center (IC) WinClient interface, and then specify a profile for each component. The IC WinClient profile is a collective profile where you group all the hidden and visible components you want to use in the IC WinClient. You can also select profiles for each component here. For information about defining profiles for each component, see the IMG activity for the corresponding component.

You either plan to use the SAP default framework or you have created your own framework in Maintain Framework ID and Parameters.

There are some default profiles which have some restrictions:

  • The IS-Media profile can only be used if you have installed IS-Media.
  • The IS-Telecommunications (IS-Telco) profile can be used independent of installing IS-Teleco, however, users will receive an error in the workspace area after selecting an item from the action box if you have not installed IS-Teleco.

  1. Create a profile by selecting the SAP default profile and choosing Copy as....
  2. On the Profile Definition screen, rename the default profile, change the description, and select the framework ID you want to use.
  3. Choose Enter.
  4. Choose Copy All.
  5. Select the profile you just created and then choose Profile Attributes.
A list of default profile attributes appears. All the profile categories in this list will appear as components in the IC WinClient with the profiles listed.
  1. To add profile categories, choose New Entries.
Add hidden and visible components until the list includes all the components that you want to use in the IC WinClient. Also select a profile for each component. You can either use default profiles or your own profiles. If you have not yet defined profiles of your own, select the default profiles. You can come back and change them after you create your own profiles.
  1. Save your data.

After you have defined a profile, you must assign it to an organizational unit or position in Organizational Management. If you do not make this assignment, the system will use the default profile (00000001).

You can check which profile the system is using by selecting Agent -> Framework Status in the IC WinClient.
