CRM_CIC_046 - Define Editor Profiles

In this IMG activity, you define agent inbox editor profiles. You configure details such as the layout of the editor and how the editor functions.

There are three default settings available:

• DEFAULT

Profile used when agents open the editor workspace and manually create new mails.

• EDITORDEFAULT

Profile used when agents reply to mails from the inbox workspace.

• EDITORIIDEFAULT

Profile used when agents initiate mails directly from the knowledge search.

1. Define editor configuration.

You define general items related to the editor such as templates, whether the original mail text is copied into the reply, whether agents can use their personal addresses or numbers for outgoing replies. You also determine whether agents can use fields such as blind carbon copy and additional outgoing addresses or fax numbers.

1. Define Signature settings.

You can define outgoing signatures for agents, including whether the signature is a default signature and what the default language is. Signatures are maintained in Create Signature Text.

1. Define addresses or fax numbers

You add which e-mail addresses or fax numbers, maintained in Define E-Mail/Fax Addresses, can be used as outgoing addresses for any agents assigned to the profile. You can determine a signature relevant to each address.

1. Assign the profile to the inbox profile.
