CRM_CIC_051 - Define Inbox Profiles

In this IMG activity, you define inbox profiles. You configure details such as the layout of the inbox, how the inbox functions as well as possible workflow information.

This activity is divided into four configuration sections:

• Configuration data

You configure general items related to e-mail inbox such as the default view, whether workflow items are shown, maximum amount of inbox items, sorting, which editor and template is used for replies.

• Workflow container elements

There are default entries for workflow container elements. We recommend using the default entries unless you have created your own custom workflow.

• Excluded functions

You have the option to remove certain functions that are available in the inbox.

• Workflows

If you decide to show workflow items in the inbox, you can further define which tasks are shown, as well as in what specific folder the items will appear in.

You later assign this profile to either a default workspace in Define Profile for Automatically Created Workspaces or a workspace in Define Configuration Profile for Action Box.
