In this IMG activity, you define types or categories for call lists. Call list types can be used to classify call lists into groups, for example, you might have one call list type for campaigns, and another type for telesales. You assign call list types to call lists in either call list generation, or in call list maintenance. This grouping can be used as a query in the call list maintenance transaction, for example, the supervisor wants to see all telesales call lists.

Once you define the call list types, you can also assign call list components to each type. Call list components are customer-defined classes that help define how calls and call lists are handled in your interaction center, in addition to the standard call list logic. Grouping the call lists into call list types saves you from assigning the call list components to each call list you create. Call lists inherit the call list type properties.

You can assign the following call list components to call list types:

The standard call list logic is used if no components are assigned to call list types.
