CRM_CMG_SEARCH_CUST - Define Search Scenario

In this activity, you can set the search scenario for how cases are to be searched. The two types are Standard and SAF/TREX. The SAF/TREX scenario is faster and allows the system to handle more complicated search requests.

Before the SAF/TREX search can be used, TREX has to be installed and SAF customizing must be performed. See Name and Configure Search Engine.

In addition, after selecting the SAF/TREX search option, case indexes must be built and compiled using the SAF tool for this function to work properly.

The default setting is Standard.

You determine the search type that will be used when searching for cases. You can select the SAF/TREX option or leave the standard setting. After you save, the option is activated.
