CRM_CM_MSEXCEL - Set Up Microsoft Excel Integration

You use this IMG activity to integrate Microsoft Excel into CRM Content Management.

• Create a document template profile. For more information, seeDefine Document Template Profile.

• Create document templates underDefine Document Templates.

• Choose the document template for a new business object (F8)

• Select an object type

• In the context menu in the navigation area, choose Create--> Excel Template (XML)

• Use input help (F4) to choose a structure

• Create your template and save it.

This opens the document template with all field structures.

You can now modify the template to meet your needs:

To show or hide columns, choose Data --> XML --> XML Source.

This opens a list with all DDIC structure fields. Use the context menu to choose Remove Element or Map Element.

To save the template, choose File --> Save

• Assign the document template profile to your application. For more information, see Assign Document Template Profile to Application.
