You use Credit Management to minimize financial risks for your organization. It enables you to display a business partner's credit rating, or to perform a credit check when creating a transaction document.

For SAP CRM, you can connect to one of the following credit management applications:

  • Credit Management (FI-AR-CR, SD-BF-CM) in SAP ERP Central Component (SAP ECC)
  • SAP Credit Management (FIN-FSCM-CR) in SAP ECC; the connection is established using SAP NetWeaver - Exchange Infrastructure (XI)
  • An external credit management system connected using XI
