Through Third Party Digital Asset Management Integration, you can integrate third party DAM system with CRM business objects. This feature requires that you specify the values of certain parameters here. The following parameters are mandatory:

  • DAMATTRIBUTE THUMBNAIL HEIGHT
This defines the height of the thumbnail visible on the digital asset assignment block and search help.
  • DAMATTRIBUTE THUMBNAIL WIDTH
This defines the width of the thumbnail visible on the digital asset assignment block and search help.
  • DAMGENSTR NAMESPACE
The generated search structure component object names are prefixed with this namespace. This is a mandatory field for the Customizing activity Generate Search Criteria.

Namespaces are identifiers assigned exclusively by SAP, which enable SAP customers, SAP partners, and SAP itself to develop SAP components and products on the basis of SAP applications without the risk of name clashes (when delivering to external SAP Systems or importing external products into internal systems=.

NAMESPACE
  • To add a new parameter:
  1. Click the New Entries button.
  2. In the New Entries: Overview of New Entries screen, enter the new parameter, the parameter name, a second parameter name if required, and a parameter value in the respective columns of the table.
  3. Save your entries.
  • To delete a parameter:
  1. Select the parameter you want to delete.
  2. Click Deleteand confirm the dialog box.
  3. Click Save.

You cannot delete the parameters delivered by SAP because these are required for third party DAM integration to work.

NAMESPACE

In the View for Customizing Table for General DAM Settings, you can specify the height and width in pixels of thumbnails to be used onscreen and as mail attachments.
