In this Customizing activity, you define default values for visit plans and activity scheduling. You make this setting once, for your entire company. This means that these values will appear automatically as the default during visit planning and activity scheduling, although you can still change them during visit planning and activity scheduling directly.

You can set the following default values for visit planning and activitiy scheduling in this Customizing activity:

  • Duration
  • Preparation time
  • Transaction type
  • Category

You can set the following additional default values for activity scheduling:

  • Period. In this field, you specify whether you want to display your activities in the calendar on a daily, weekly or monthy view.
  • Working hours. Here you set your sales representatives' working hours at company level. The employee working hours you set here are also transferred to CRM Mobile. Activity proposals are generated based on the employee working hours you specify here.
  • Date type. This is used to determine standard colours and icons for displaying activities in the calendar.

You can display and change these default values under Settingsduring both visit planning and activity scheduling. The changes you make here, however, do not affect the company wide settings you make in this Customizing activity.
