CRM_EIC_ALIASMAP - Maintain Application Alias Mapping

In this Customizing activity, you can map the application alias name with the service request category in the corresponding SAP CRM system. The application alias name is maintained at folder level in the launchpad for renovated PA applications in the connected SAP HCM system.

• All Customizing is client-dependent.

• The application alias, mapped to the service request category, exists in the SAP HCM system.

There are no entries delivered by default. You can create and add the mapping entries, as required.

• Service Request Category

This is the category name in the category schema text, visible in the service request subject, for the transaction type SEIC in the CRM system. The leaf level category, which controls the launchpad view, is entered here.

• Application Alias Name

The application alias name corresponds to a folder name in the PA launchpad with renovated services in the HCM system. The application alias name, corresponding to the folder, is maintained here.

Note:

This mapping is not mandatory, but is required if you want to control the group of applications displayed based on the selected service request categories.

If no mapping has been maintained in the view, the complete launchpad, including all folders, is displayed.
