CRM_ELM_DUPL_CHECK - Activate Duplicate Check

For duplicate checks, External List Management uses a Business Address Services interface. To make duplicate checking possible in External List Management, this interface must be connected to a third-party product for duplicate checking and error-tolerant searching.
If a third-party product is connected to the CRM system, then duplicate checking is available, for example, during business partner maintenance (e.g. online via the interface).
Many third-party products also provide functions for mail checking.
After you have installed the third-party product and connected it to the CRM System, perform the IMG activity Activate duplicate check index pools (SAP Web Application Server -> SAP Web Application Server-> Basis-Services -> Address Management -> Activate Index Pools for Duplicate Check).
Maintain a threshold value greater than 0.0 for table BUT000 and field PARTNER. Set the Index activeIndicator to activate duplicate checking.
