CRM_ETC_TX_002 - Define Settings for Item Categories

In this Customizing activity, you define settings for item categories. There are some settings on item category level that are only relevant for Toll Collection contracts:

• Number Range for Contracts

Enter a number of the number range defined in transaction CRM_TC_CON_NR Define number range for ETC contracts. This allows you to use different number ranges for different products, for example, 0-9.999 for business customers and 10.000 - 99.999 for private customers.

If no number range is entered the system takes the number range '01' as default.

Note: Number ranges have to be marked as internal.

• Relevance of Prepaid Data

This flag is used to determine if a contract is a prepaid contract or not. If this flag is selected, the system provides the relevant fields on the UI during the capturing process.

• Allowed channels for customer communication.

The assignment of communication profiles defines the communication channels that can be selected during the capturing of prepaid data for a contract.
