CRM_FIMA_LEAS_CLASS - Classify Financing Products

In this step, you define

• Lease classes (for example, operating lease, capital lease) and

• Accounting principles (for example, US GAAP)

You assign these to classification types (local, group, customer) and to a sales organization and a distribution channel. By doing so, you ensure that when you create a financing product for certain sales organizations and distribution channels, only a certain number of leasing-specific classification options are available (and are offered in the input help).

The system requires these leasing-specific entries for further processing of the data in accounting in the R/3 System.

1. Create a lease class by entering a technical key and a description. Use the leasing types in the R/3 System as a point of reference.
2. Assign the lease class to the following:

• Sales organization and distribution channel

• Classification type

1. Create an accounting principle.
2. Assign the accounting principle to the following:

• Sales organization and distribution channel

• Classification type
