In this IMG activity, depending on the condition type, you use an access sequence to specify the sequence in which the system is to process condition tables when searching for specific condition records. Each condition table contains a specific combination of fields that the system is to search for in the condition records. The search sequence should range from specific to general condition records (for example, the search for the customer field comes before the search for the customer group field).

Use the exclusive indicator to specify that the system stops searching after it accesses a valid condition record.

For every condition type for which you create condition records, you specify an access sequence. For some condition types, you do not need to create condition tables (for example, discounts that are not being searched for but are entered manually). You do not need to specify an access sequence for these condition types.

The namespace for customer-defined entries is: A* to Z* and 8*, 9*.

Condition table A contains the field combination product/ target group, condition table B contains the field combination product/ customer. In the access sequence for the condition type with usage CD (campaign determination), you specify the following sequence:

  1. Condition table B (product/ customer)
  2. Condition table A (product/ target group)

You flag the accesses as exclusive.

When campaign determination now searches for a campaign or trade promotion, the system first searches in the condition records for a customer-specific campaign or trade promotion. If it does not find a suitable entry, it then searches for a target-group-specific campaign or trade promotion.

Note:If you want to assign multiple campaigns or trade promotions to an order item, you must add the field with field name CMP_GUID to the condition table. Unless you do this, the assignment of multiple campaigns or trade promotions is not supported and you can assign only one campaign or trade promotion to an order item.

Because this field is not relevant for access, you must additionally choose access type Bin the corresponding access sequence for accessing this field. To reduce system load, you should add this field in the final position.
