You can include global trade checks (compliance checks) in the sales order. These checks are performed in SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) and check that the sales order complies to the appropriate export regulations (for example, sanctioned party lists, embargos, export license requirements).
The following prerequisites must be fulfilled:
- You are implementing SAP GTS 7.0 and have replicated the master data to SAP GTS. For more information on this, see SAP Compliance Management 7.0 - Configuration Guide on the SAP Service Marketplace under http://service.sap.com/instguides -> SAP Components -> SAP Global Trade Services -> Using SAP GTS 7.0.
- You have made the appropriate settings in SAP CRM Customizing for access and data exchange in SAP GTS. This includes the following IMG activities:
- The system configuration for service parts management is activated. For more information about this, see the IMG of SAP CRM under Customer Relationship Management -> Transactions -> Basic Settings -> Activate System Configuration for Service Parts Management.
- You have selected the indicator GTS-Relevant for the transaction type and the item category in the IMG for SAP CRM. You perform these steps for the business transaction category Sales in the IMG for SAP CRM under Customer Relationship Management -> Transactions -> Basic Settings -> Define Transaction Types or Define Item Categories.
