CRM_ICM_REC_DOCUMENT - BAdI: Format Conversion and Processing of Document Attributes

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is called in the Investigative Case Managementcomponent (CRM-S4-IPS-ICM).

You can use this BAdI to determine how the system processes document attributes and document content.

This BAdI contains the following methods:

• GET_ORIGIN

Determines the origin of a document that is being filled.

• SET_ATTRIBUTES_CRM2RM

Maps the Service attributes to the RM attributes.

• GET_ATTRIBUTES_RM2CRM

Maps the RM attributes to the Service attributes.

• CONVERT_CONTENT

Can be used to convert the content of the document.

• The BAdI is filter-independent.

• This BAdI uses the default implementation class CL_CRM_ICM_REC_DOCUMENT_BADI (Default Class). If there is no implementation, the system uses the default implementation. You can override the default implementations with your own implementations. You can also deactivate the delivered default implementation.

SAP delivers the following example implementations for this BAdI:

• CL_CRM_ICM_REC_DOCUMENT_BADI

Processing of DOMEA-compatible documents

• CL_CRM_ICM_REC_DOCUMENT_CNV

Processing of DOMEA-compatible documents with additional content conversion

To deactivatethe default implementation, create an empty implementation.
