CRM_IC_034 - Define Inbox Profiles

In this Customizing activity, you can define the agent inbox (inbox) profile that determines the following aspects of the inbox for the user role:

  • Main categories
You can define which main categories are available.
You can define the main categories in the Customizing activity Define Item Types for Searches.
  • Quick searches
You can define which quick searches are available.
If you define a quick search as the default search, the system performs this quick search when a user opens the inbox the first time during a session.
You can define quick searches in the SAPGUI, on the SAP Easy Access screen under Interaction Center -> Interaction Center WebClient -> Administration-> Agent Inbox -> Define Quick Searches.
  • Time periods
You can define which time periods are available.
You can define the time periods in the Customizing activity Define Time Periods for Searches.
  • Search view
You can define whether the standard search or the advanced search is available. For more information, see Search View to Be Displayed.
  • Result list display
You can define whether the result list is displayed in tree format or in table format by default. The user can change this setting in the inbox. For more information, see Inbox Result List Display.
  • Maximum number of hits
You can define the maximum number of hits. The number you enter influences the search processing time.
