CRM_IC_046 - Define Text Types for Communication Methods

In this Customizing activity, you can define which text type of the interaction record (for example, note or business partner information) is used to include the e-mail text of an inbound e-mail in the interaction record.

You have checked that the text types you want to use are available in the text determination procedure assigned to the interaction record transaction type.

1. Select a communication method.
2. Specify the text determination procedure that is assigned to the interaction record.
3. Select the text type that is used to include an e-mail text in the interaction record.
