CRM_IC_049 - Define Account Identification Profiles

In this Customizing activity, you can define profiles for identifying accounts in the Interaction Center (IC) WebClient. You can do the following:

• Define parameters for account searches using one of the following scenarios:

• Business-to-business (B2B)

• Business-to-consumer (B2C)

• Mixed B2B and B2C

• Set default values that the system uses when agents create new accounts or contact persons

• Maintain settings for embedded object components

Under these settings, you can choose Auto Search to have searches for objects triggered automatically when the account is confirmed. However, the automatic search can affect the response time of the account confirmation.

• Maintain the setting to display the logos of the companies or pictures of the business partners while interacting with them

In the default profile DEFAULT, the scenario is set to B2B.

After defining your account identification profile, assign it to the relevant business role in Customizing by choosingDefine Business Role.
