CRM_IC_051 - Define Categorization Profiles

In this Customizing activity, you define categorization profiles.

The settings of the categorization profile influence the user interface representation of categorization schema(s) in the corresponding business transactions. Furthermore, it influences the behavior of the auto suggest function.

The auto suggest function provides suggestions for problems and solutions, e-mail forms, and service order templates interactively. This suggestion is based on the selected category.

Content analysis provides category suggestions based on the content of the e-mails that agents have selected for processing in their inbox.

You have:

• Activated the use of categorization schema(s) for the business transactions in Customizing for Service under Define Business Transaction Profiles.

• Defined content analysis settings in Customizing under Define Application Areas for Categorization.

SAP delivers a default categorization profile named DEFAULT. This includes default settings related to categorization.

In case you make no adjustments in this Customizing activity, the system will use the DEFAULT profile.
