CRM_IC_058 - Define URLs and Parameters
PERFORM Short Reference Fill RESBD Structure from EBP Component StructureThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this IMG activity, you define IDs and properties for all URL based applications you want to use in the transaction launcher.
Launch transactions support the following types of URLs:
- String value
- Local BSP application and start page/controller
- Local HTTP service
You also define the parameters which the URL can pass to or receive from the IC WebClient. Once you define the URL IDs and properties, you can choose the URL in the launch transaction in Configure Transaction Launcher (Wizard) and all settings defined here are passed.
NOTE: The target of the URL must be able to run in an IFRAME so it does not interfere with the Interaction Center (IC) WebClient framework.
- You determined the URLs that should be started as well as the parameters that should be passed.
- If you are using BSP applications for the URL based launch transaction, the application must already be defined in the Web Application Builder.
- You maintained mapped logical systems in Define Transaction Launcher Logical Systems and URLs.
You would like to define a launch transaction which opens a shipping status Web site. You can pass the confirmed business partner's name and address from the IC WebClient to the Web site, thus saving agents time by not having to reenter information that is available to them in the IC WebClient.
