CRM_IC_080 - Define Toolbar Buttons

In this Customizing activity, you can do the following:

• Define toolbar buttons

• Change toolbar button descriptions

• Associate dual tone multi frequency (DTMF) tones with toolbar buttons if your communication management software (CMS) supports the sending of DTMF tones

• Upload customer-defined toolbar icons in addition to those that are delivered by default

To make toolbar buttons available in the interaction center, you must include them in the corresponding toolbar profile.

Note: You can configure the standard DTMF pad in your toolbar profile.

You cannot change the button IDs of standard delivered toolbar buttons.

• Enter a button ID.

• Enter a button description.

• If you want the button to send DTMF tones, enter a DTMF ID.

• If you want to upload a customer-defined toolbar icon, enter the toolbar icon path.

• Assign the button to a channel toolbar layout using the Customizing activity Define Toolbar Profiles.
