CRM_IC_092 - Define Installed Base Profiles

In this Customizing activity, you can define an installed base profile to be used when viewing installed base details in the interaction center (IC). Once an account has been confirmed, the installed base can be displayed either in a tree structure or in a table view.

• If you are not using the multiple business partner scenario, you have enabled automatic search in the Customizing activity Define Account Identification Profiles. Under Object Components, select the Auto Search checkbox.

• If you are using the multiple business partner scenario, you have enabled automatic search in the Customizing activity Define Account Identification Profiles for Multiple Business Partners. Under Search Tabs, find the component for installed base and select the Auto Search indicator.

By default, the installed base details are displayed in a table view.

To display the installed base details in a tree structure, select the Display Tree checkbox.

After defining an IBase profile, assign it to the relevant business role in the Customizing activity Define Business Role. To do so, ensure that the function profile IBASE has been assigned to the business role. Under Profile Value, enter the name of your newly created IBase profile.
