In order for the rule engine to be able to trigger alerts in the Interaction Center, you must set up an Intent-Driven Interaction (IDI) profile. You do this in the activity Define Intent-Driven Interaction Profiles.

After you define the profile, you must attach it to the business role, in this case the IC_MANAGER role. Once this is created, you can log into the application as the IC Manager and create the necessary alerts with the Alert Editor and use the Rule Modeler to assign it.
