CRM_IOBJECT_DESC - BAdI: Description of Individual Object

This Business Add-In (Add-In) is used in the Automotive Interaction Center (CRM-IA-IC) component.

It enables you to set the description of an individual object, for example, a vehicle.

This Add-In is run through when the function modules CRM_IOBJECT_CIC_IOBA_CREATE and CRM_IOBJECT_CIC_IOBA_CHANGE are called while an individual object is created/maintained.

It contains the method SET_IOBJECT_DESCRIPTION.

In the standard system, there is no default implementation for this Add-In.

In the example implementation IOBJ_DES_ISA_EX_IMP, the explicit description in the IOBJECT_DESC field of the UI structure is checked first. If this field is empty, the description is taken from the MODEL field of the UI structure. If neither of the two fields is filled, the object family description is taken as individual object description.

The BAdI is filter-dependent. The filter type is CCMPROF (CIC Profile).
